Error message: Cannot open photo

If you're seeing the error message "Cannot open photo", note that a module of the inPixio software may be corrupted.
Most commonly it's due to an aggressive antivirus program or a major Windows update. 

 

Please follow these instructions to remedy the situation:

  1. Download the latest VC Redistributable file from here: https://aka.ms/vs/15/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
  2. Close all running programs.
  3. Install the file.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Open your inPixio software and load an image.
