In this guide, we’re going to show you how to clone objects in pictures.
You can find the instructions for the following software versions:
inPixio Photo Studio 12
- On the home screen choose the Erase Objects mode.
- Choose the image you want to edit.
- Open More tools section.
- Choose the Clone tool and click on Source to Duplicate.
- You can adjust the Brush size, Hardness, Opacity, and Flow settings.
- Move the target cursor to the area you want to duplicate and click.
- Then move the cloned image to the area where you want to place it. Click and drag the cursor to clone the object.

You will see that the target also updates. You can change it as needed.
Alternatively, you can use the Patch tool to clone an object.
- Open the Patch tool. Choose New selection, Duplicate the selection option.
- Outline the object you want to clone.
- Drag the object to where you want it to be placed.
- Once you release the mouse button the object will be duplicated.

- Open the photo you want to edit in the inPixio Photo Studio.
- Click on the Eraser icon to open the Remove Objects module.
- Click on Edit.
- A new window will open. Choose the Clone Stamp tool on the right-side panel.
- Click on the Select button to choose the source image to duplicate it.
- Move the target cursor to the area you want to duplicate and click.
- Then move the cloned image to the area where you want to place it. Click and drag the cursor to clone the object.
- You can adjust the Brush Size, Hardness, Opacity, and Flow settings.
Alternatively, you can use the Correction Patch tool to clone an object.
- Open the Correction Patch tool. Choose New selection mode, Duplicate the selection option.
- Outline the object you want to clone.
- Drag the object to where you want it to be placed.
- Once you release the mouse button the object will be duplicated.
