the drop down just goes to windows 8

  InPixio Photo Maximizer 5 is compatible with Windows 10.

  In case you have any particular issue with the installation, I would advise you to deactivate temporarily your Web-guards and Antivirus as they are likely and probably will block your installation.
  
  Uninstall any previous versions, trial versions, and all remnants of the product from the control panel while connected to the internet.
  
  It is important that you start from scratch.
  
  Then please restart your computer and proceed to re-download the program from your purchase confirmation email.

  If you face the same issue with the installation, please contact our customer service with the screenshot of the error message.
