Correction patch Shadow
CompletedWhen I use correction patch to get rid of something, it leaves a shadow of what I am trying to cover. I select what I want to remove... I move it and it is replaced by the destination. As soon as I release the mouse ... it is like the overlay is opaque.... see picture.... this happens everytime

Hi Joanne,
Thank you for your post. I will be happy to help.
Correction Patch is not the best tool for your needs. I would advise you to use the Clone tool in Photo Eraser Module or Cut-out tool in Photo Cutter to remove the background and replace it with the white one. I have attached some ad-hoc samples for you
Here is the link with the instructions:

Have you already had a chance to watch our recent webinar on Cutter and Eraser functions?
Let me know if you have any questions or more concerns.
Regards!

Thank you for that.... that is what I ended up doing, tho yours looks much neater than mine LOL..... I painted over with the clone... I do hope that they can fix the correction tool as it is much quicker and seems to work well ( except that it leaves the shadow ) .... I was hoping it was like clone where you could change the hardness and the opaqueness..
Joanne
off to watch some webinars LOL
