    Hi Peter.

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the software. Let me assist you with that.

Firstly, please confirm that your PC/laptop meets the minimum software requirements:

    • Processor Intel® or AMD
    • 4 GB of RAM - (8 recommended)
    • 700 MB of free disk space, mouse and keyboard
    • Internet connection
    • Screen resolution 1024 x 768

Then, please disable the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) and turn off UAC (User Access Control).
Follow the instructions to do so here:

    Change Data Execution Prevention settings

    https://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-xp/disable-turn-off-dep-windows/

    Turn Off User Access Control

    https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/

Then, please reboot your computer and then

    1Disable temporary antivirus protection program
    2Turn off Windows Firewall
3Initiate installation by executing the program as Administrator.

Kindly note that software may stop responding due to many reasons. In most cases, MS Visual C++ Redistributable components contain corrupted registry entry or haven’t been able to deploy correctly.

InPixio software comes with all necessary components to install and function properly. Please run MS File checker as explained in this useful article here and reinstall InPixio software after restarting the computer and while the computer’s protection program is temporarily muted.

Don’t interrupt the installation process and restart the computer before using the software.

Let me know if you continue to face the same issue.

    Regards!

    InPixio team

I have the same problem and I am a normal user - no computer specialist. Please sell your software without such major bugs! There will be other and better offers for photo-software ....

    Hi Dr. Hans-Joachim,

That should never have happened, and I completely understand how frustrating this must be for you.

If you have too many processes or programs running on the computer while trying to work with the images on InPixio, it will often cause the software to freeze up expectantly. The first option would be to ensure that your project has been saved, and then restart your computer to free up resources.

There are many reasons that could cause a freeze or crash issue. Please try one or more of the following:

    • Ensure your InPixio software is up-to-date.
You can check for software updates here.

    • Check the minimum system requirements.
Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for the software. Click HERE.

    • Update graphics card drivers to the latest.
You can download the latest driver from the AMD / NVIDIA / Intel’s web site. If you have any problem installing graphics card drivers, please contact your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the display and sound cards for the latest drivers.

    • Check whether the installed drive has enough space on it.
This is because a large amount of memory space can be required for buffering.

    • Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator.
If you lack administrator access privileges, the InPixio application might be unable to access the necessary files it needs.

    • Run the application while no other applications are running.
To maximize the available RAM and reduce the chance that another application conflicts with the application, close all open applications (including virus-protection utilities). Then restart your InPixio program.

    • Removing and reinstalling InPixio software.
Sometimes there may be some problems during the installation. You can try to remove the software from the Control Panel, restart your system, and then reinstall the program again. Please ensure you close all other applications while installing InPixio.

    • It is strongly suggested that you frequently save all your projects, files, and photos first to prevent any data from going missing. Always restart the computer to refresh its memory after a system error occurs. Continuing to work may make the problem worse.

Note: If you still can’t resolve the problem, you can contact our Technical Support. Before contacting Technical Support, please prepare and include the information listed here. The more info you provide, the more we can understand your issue and better service will be provided.
