    Hi,

Please follow the instructions below to resolve the issue with the InPixio update:

Initially run Windows Update ( www.update.microsoft.com ) and apply all Important and optional updates (excluding language packs) available for your system. Once the installation is completed, shut down (do not restart it) the computer. Upon booting up please check for Windows Updates again, apply if any.

Then, please follow the instructions below to reinstall:

1 Remove the program from the control panel program's list

    2 Restart Computer

3 Turn off UAC - click here to read about; optional disable the DEP – click here to read about it.

4 Disable temporary antivirus protection program

5 Turn off Windows Firewall - click here to read about

6 Download the installation file by saving it from your purchase confirmation email. Initiate installation by executing the program as Administrator

In case you continue to face the same error message, please restart the computer. When Windows loads up, close all software (disable protection software temporarily) and connect the computer to the Internet.

Then, click using the right-hand-side mouse button on top of the InPixio Photo software shortcut icon on Desktop and select option Run as Administrator. This helps the program to start normally.

In case error 12029 persists to be reported, please modify the entry of Windows hosts files using Notepad, just by adding # in front of 127.0.0.1 so it looks like this:

    # 127.0.0.1 tools.avanquest.com

    # 127.0.0.1 api.avanquest.com

    # 127.0.0.1 aims.avanquest.com

    # 127.0.0.1 www.avanquest.com

It may not be easy to edit this file due to a lack of administrative privileges of the user account.

Here is a suggestion on how to do this:

Press the Windows key. Type Notepad in the search field. In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as Administrator.

From Notepad, open the following file: c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

Make the necessary changes to the file. Click File > Save to save your changes. Now, please restart the computer, and at least this time run InPixio software as Administrator. Click using the right-hand-side mouse button on top of the InPixio software shortcut icon on the desktop and select option Run as Administrator.

Install any updates found and carry on using the software. There is a  possibility to receive forbidden to use error message. In this case, go over the steps outlined in this article, and please reinstall the software from scratch.

Let me know if the issue persists.

    Regards!

Hi, team same issue I got on my PC, the update module has intercepted an error.  Check that your internet connection is active and that no filtering or security system is blocking the connection. while I was used the Best VPN server for geo navigation, but all efforts not good.
