Photo Studio 12 SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AnsweredBetween this so called new and easiest to use program and the really really bad customer service I've just had it. I had a lifetime version before but made the mistake of upgrading. The old version allowed me to highlight a spot in a photo, place a picture behind that, size it and save in a matter of a couple minutes. Studio 12 claims that but I have spent 4 hours at least in a couple tries and have never successfully completed this once simple task. I have repeatedly contacted Inpixio and they pretend to not understand what I mean. I have asked over and over for a link to download my old lifetime version. That used to be in my programs so I could do that but they have removed it and I can no longer download it.
Inpixio, bad enough you made a once easy process impossible to complete, your customer service is the very worst in the entire industry. I so angry right now I'm swhaking. Give me back my lifetime programs or give m,e back my money. This program sucks

You can go back and load and use the prior version 11 like I did after 10 seconds of using 12...
Uninstall 12, then search their support page for "where can I load my version" and there is a web page with all the versions install files to get to the download page for 11. Install it and then log in. They may get the message if enough people complain about 12.0 -
Thank you Dennis. I don’t know why they wanted to keep that a secret. I asked over and over. No answers.

Thank you Dennis, I have tried that and still it doesn't download and install, I am now trying for the umpteenth time to dl and install 12, after removing ALL INPIXIO files from the windows programe folder.
AND... It still didn't work!
This sucks!!!0 -
Malcolm, why on earth would you want 12? It is so bad it’s unimaginable. Pure junk. I finally got 11 back and will use it until God calls me home.

Ben, the "Eraser part " on 12 is way better than 10 and 11, in my opinion, am now reinstalling 10 untill they figure out the issue.

Malcom: To uninstall version 12 (or anything), I hope you first went to the Add or Remove operation in Windows since to remove a program from the PC requires more than removing its installed files: there are entries in Windows registry and other such things also. FYI it looks like 10 loads into the Program Files (x86) folder. I have learned to never remove installed files from their folder, but to Uninstall using that Windows app. Have you typed "Add or Remove Programs" in the search box of Windows, launched that APP, and removed all InPixio installs? Thanks for the advice on 12 having better ERASE. Now to install 12 it will erase my 11 which I will have to reinstall after 12.

Dennis, I am not sure if it will delete 11 but, 12 is way superior to 11, you can always go back to 11 if you can't get on with 12, personally I find 12 the best by far, yes it took me a few days to get used to it but after that, I cannot think of a single reason to revert to an older version, yes I did go to add/ remove progs to remove.

Malcom: I got a new laptop, and had installed both 11 and 12 on both PCs on one user license and adjusted which was active, and all was well - for awhile. In January the USAGE licensing caught up in their records as expired. 10 was a keyed product in Jun 2020 where USAGE was lifetime simply by purchasing it but UPGRADES were by ongoing 1 year subscription, and I spent awhile with tech support to assure that was the case. BUT, they changed this policy in Nov 2020 to have both UPGRADES and USAGE licensed for a subscription term without changing the End User license agreement which still states USAGE is for an INDEFINITE Period. When buying 11 and 12, I assumed (I should have reconfirmed as I did with 10 but everything LOOKED identical) that since the license stated indefinite, that again the 1 year term was for UPGRADES and USAGE was lifetime. In trying to resolve this, each time I loaded 12 it removed 11. I gave up and upgraded to a lifetime 5 PC license after two weeks of "poor tech support" still not explaining why the End User License still says usage is INDEFINITE, and now I can load 12 and it leaves 11. Not sure if it was 1 PC license related, but it happened several times and there is no selection at install time for this. Thanks.
