In this article, we will show you how to remove and replace a photo background.
- Launch inPixio Photo Studio.
- Open the Photo Cutter module.
- Click Open... to choose the photo you want to edit.
- Mark the background you want to remove using the red marker.
- If some parts of the photo you want to keep are also removed, mark them using the green marker to bring them back.
- When you are happy with the cutout result, open the Photomontage section on the right-hand panel to select a new background.
- Select a new background photo from the list on the right-hand panel.

- You can click and drag your cutout to move it around the background.
- Drag the corners of the cutout to change its size.
- Click the arrow buttons to flip the cutout image vertically/horizontally.
- Drag the circular arrow button to rotate the cutout.
- When you are happy with the placement, click the Save button to save your image.
- Enter the name of your photo and choose the location. Click Save.
