How to remove an object from a photo with the Erase tool in inPixio Photo Studio 10

Find out how to make small imperfections or entire objects disappear with the Erase tool.

Please open the Erase tool in the Photo eraser module, select the Selection Brush tool and adjust the brush size.

Click on the object you wish to remove. Click on the Erase button.

As a general rule, the brush size and the zoom level don't have any effect on the results of the tool. Everything depends on the shape of the mask (the shape of the area to be repaired indicated by the rose overlay). Because there's a very complicated algorithm behind the tool that is a little bit magic, there's an element of randomness. While the exact same mask will always give the exact same result, small differences in the mask can have more significant differences in the final result. What that means is — if you don't get the result you're looking for, try undoing and repairing the area again. Otherwise, please use the Clone tool.
