In this article, we’ll show how you can create a black and white image.
You can find the instructions for the following software versions:
inPixio Photo Studio 12
- On the home screen choose the mode Edit Photo.
- Choose the image you want to edit.
You can create a black and white photo using the following tools:
Filters
- In the Auto(AI) section choose Filters.
- Scroll down the list of filters and choose the black and white filter.
- Open the Tools tab -> Correction section -> Adjustments to further adjust the settings.
Adjustments
- Open the Tools tab -> Correction section -> Adjustments.
- Click on the arrow to expand the list of the adjustment tools.
- Set the Saturation setting to -100% to make your photo monochrome.
- You can now change the other settings like Contrast and Shadows in the Adjustment section to your preference.

LUTs
- Open the Tools tab -> Creative section -> Luts.
- Open the B&W category and choose from a list of luts.

- Open a photo you want to edit in the inPixio Photo Studio software.
You can create a black and white photo using the following tools:
Adjustments
- Open the Adjustments module in the right-hand panel.
- Set the Saturation setting to -100% to make your photo monochrome.
- You can now change the other settings like Contrast and Shadows in the Adjustment section to your preference.
